Britta Müller

Britta Müller is a Researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Regional Geography (IfL) in Leipzig, Germany, affiliated with the Department of Cartography and Visual Communication and the Research Group 'Data and Practices'. She joined IfL in March 2025 and holds a joint Erasmus Mundus Master's degree in Global Studies from Leipzig University and Ghent University (2022–2024), and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (2018–2022).

Her research explores interdisciplinary themes including:

• Critical analysis of mapping practices and power dynamics in cartography
• Intersectional feminist perspectives on space and place
• Socio-political dimensions of geographical constructs
• Methodologies for research coordination

She currently contributes to the project 'Thinking Through Places (TTP)', examining spatial transformations.
