Christian Hanewinkel

Christian Hanewinkel is a Researcher and knowledge transfer appointee at the Leibniz Institute for Regional Geography (IfL) in Leipzig, Germany, where he has been employed since 1995 within the Department of Cartography and Visual Communication.

He earned his degree in geography, cartography, and business economics from the University of Trier (1987–1994), establishing expertise in spatial analysis and visualization methodologies.
