Brita Fladvad Nielsen

Brita Fladvad Nielsen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Design at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Her research focuses on service design, universal accessibility, and sustainable urban systems. She leads projects addressing student mental health (StudyWell), affordable housing (Boligstiftelsen collaborations), and smart city governance in Trondheim. Her work bridges design theory with practical applications in humanitarian contexts and energy communities.
