Ingfrid Lyngstad

Ingfrid Lyngstad is an Associate Professor at the Department of Architecture and Planning, Faculty of Architecture and Design, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Her work bridges landscape architecture, urbanism, and physical planning, with a focus on practice-based research and teaching. She contributes to the Master's programmes in Architecture and Physical Planning.

• ClimaGen: Enhancing urban resilience through arts, culture, and youth engagement.
• Re-Value: Promoting climate neutrality via multidisciplinary urban development.
• Ecologies of Stone: Exploring sustainable load-bearing stone architecture.

Recent publications highlight her focus on socio-spatial analysis, climate policy, and landscape preservation. She has taught courses such as Areal and VVA Infrastructure, Master's Thesis in Physical Planning, and Theory and Methods for Master's Projects.

Outreach activities include seminars on green urban structures, biodiversity, and climate plans in Trondheim, often in collaboration with Gemini-senteret (a NTNU-SINTEF partnership).
