Briseis Aschebrook-Kilfoy is an Associate Professor of Population and Precision Health in the Department of Public Health Sciences at The University of Chicago. She serves as Director of the Epidemiology Research and Recruitment Core at the University of Chicago Comprehensive Cancer Center (UCCCC) and Co-Director of both the Integrated Health Sciences Facility Core and Community Engagement Core at the Chicago Center for Health and the Environment (CACHET). Her research integrates environmental, lifestyle, and genetic factors to investigate cancer and chronic disease etiology, with a focus on urban exposome effects in Chicago and Bangladesh.

Her work examines environmental exposure assessment using molecular techniques, particularly investigating nitrates, pesticides, and air pollutants. She leads the Chicago Multiethnic Prevention and Surveillance Study (COMPASS) and the NIEHS-funded Up on EHS training program, while directing the largest thyroid cancer survivorship study in North America (NATCSS). Her research spans environmental health, precision medicine, and health disparities.
