Briony Collins

Briony Collins is a Tutor at the School of Language, Culture and the Arts, part of the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at Bangor University. She currently serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant - Foundation Year Support and Student Administrator, reflecting her dual role in academic instruction and administrative support.

Her research and creative output focus on Creative Writing and Environmental Literature, with works contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those addressing ecological awareness and sustainability. Her publications from 2021 to 2025 include poetry and narrative works exploring themes such as nature writing, ecocriticism, and environmental humanities.

Briony has actively participated in academic events, including the At Eich Coed / Tree Sense conference in 2023, underscoring her engagement with interdisciplinary discussions on environmental and literary topics. While her publications trend toward poetic explorations of ecological systems, they also incorporate climate fiction, sustainability themes, and environmental symbolism.
