Brindley Sherratt

Brindley Sherratt is a British bass and one of the world's most respected opera singers. He is a Fellow and Visiting Professor at the Royal Academy of Music. Known for his commanding stage presence and vocal prowess, he specializes in roles such as Claggart (Billy Budd), Gurnemanz (Parsifal), Hunding (Die Walküre), and Sarastro (Die Zauberflöte), which he has performed over 100 times.

Recordings: Roles in Semele (Chandos), Imelda de Lambertazzi (Opera Rara), Fidelio (Glyndebourne Live), plus Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis and Bach cantatas. Recent release Fear No More (Gramophone Award-nominated).
