Bridgette Davis

Dr. Bridgette Davis is an Assistant Professor in the School of Education at the University of Southern Mississippi. With a background as a military daughter, spouse, and former secondary school science teacher, she bridges theory and practice in teacher training, focusing on preparing K-12 educators to foster student success through AUDACIOUS GOALS and Southern Miss GRIT.

• Education: Ph.D. in K-12 Reading (2010), M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction (2003), B.S. in Secondary Biology and Chemistry Education (1999)

Her expertise spans secondary education, biology, chemistry, general science, and K-12 reading instruction. She teaches courses such as Adolescent Literacy in the Content Areas, Secondary Education Methods, and Curriculum in Secondary Schools, emphasizing classroom management and practical pedagogy.
