Brice Terpstra is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Southern Illinois University (SIU), joining the faculty in Fall 2024. He earned his Ph.D. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Arizona State University and previously worked as a Senior Research Analyst in the TORCH Lab at the University of Utah. His research focuses on behavioral health outcomes, criminal justice policy, and community corrections, with a recent emphasis on the life-course experiences of justice-involved military veterans.
