Brianna Larson is an Assistant Professor of Theatre and Dance Education at Arkansas State University's College of Liberal Arts and Communication. Her expertise bridges theatrical performance and dance instruction, with a focus on non-verbal storytelling through body movement.
- Degrees: M.F.A. in Theatre Pedagogy (Movement/Musical Theatre) from Virginia Commonwealth University; B.A. in Theatre with Dance minor from Minnesota State University–Moorhead
Research Focus: Integrates ethnic folk dance and ballroom traditions into theatrical performance and instruction. Explores the roots of modern dance styles and the application of Michael Chekhov Acting Technique for dancer-actors.
Teaching Specialties: Social Dance, Folk Dance, Tap/Jazz, Musical Theatre choreography, Movement for Actors, and Chekhov-based acting techniques.
