Brian Serr is Professor of Law and Louise L. Morrison Chair of Constitutional Law at Baylor Law School. He teaches Constitutional Law, International Human Rights, and Supreme Court Seminar, while coaching nationally ranked moot court teams.
His advocacy teams have won seven national championships, including two ABA National Appellate Advocacy titles. International engagements include Fulbright Scholarship (Lithuania), human rights conferences (Austria/Russia), and directing justice initiatives in Zambia/Uganda.
- Awards: Fulbright Scholarship (1994); ABA Pro Bono Award for Supreme Court work; Baylor University Outstanding Faculty Award (2002)
He maintains an active appellate practice, arguing before the U.S. Supreme Court and Fifth Circuit on civil rights and constitutional issues.
