Brian Satterlee is a Professor of Business in the School of Business at Liberty University. With a dual doctoral background (Ed.D. and D.B.A.), he has taught continuously since 1980, specializing in higher education administration, strategic management, international business, and leadership development. He is a member of the Oxford Round Table and has authored books on strategic management, non-profit management, knowledge management, e-commerce, and international business.
Dr. Satterlee has held significant roles in accreditation processes, serving as a site visitor for SACS and TRACS. He contributed to the American Council on Education’s College Credit Review Teams for institutions like NASA, the U.S. Army Management Staff College, and Learning Tree International. His consulting work spans over 30 organizations, including government agencies, non-profits, and for-profit entities such as the U.S. Congressman Dave Weldon’s office, Global Entrepreneurship Institute, and international institutions in Grenada, Dominica, and Belize.
His research focuses on applying management theories to educational and organizational contexts, with peer-reviewed articles addressing knowledge management, international executive development, leadership in academia, and quality improvement. He actively participates in institutional committees like the President’s Council, Strategic Planning Committee, and Quality Enhancement Plan Task Force.
