Dr. Brian Roland serves as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Behavioral and Health Sciences at Indiana Wesleyan University's School of Service and Leadership, bringing over 16 years of clinical experience with mental illness and addictions alongside 17 years of research expertise in substance use disorders.
His academic credentials include:

He earned New York State licensure as a Master Social Worker (LMSW) in 2014, strengthening his clinical-practice foundation. His research integrates clinical social work methodologies with evidence-based interventions for addiction treatment, emphasizing community-based approaches to mental health care.
