Brian Raison is a Professor and Extension Field Specialist at The Ohio State University, split between 80% Extension work and 20% affiliation with the Department of Agricultural Communication, Education, and Leadership. He holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Extension Education from The Ohio State University, an M.A. in Sociology from Ohio University, and a B.S. in Business from The Ohio State University.
His research focuses on Leadership Development, Organizational Capacity Building, Instructional Strategies, and Local Food Systems. Recent projects include analyzing virtual farmers markets, racial equity initiatives in extension programs, and homeless shelter food production systems.
