Gregory Davis is a Professor in the Department of Agricultural Communication, Education, and Leadership at The Ohio State University. He holds a B.A. in Comprehensive Social Sciences from the University of Findlay (1989), an M.P.A. in Political Science from Bowling Green State University (1993), and a Ph.D. in Extension Education from The Ohio State University (2004). His expertise includes leadership, community engagement, and evaluation strategies.
- Professional Roles:
- Associate Director and Chair of OSU Extension, overseeing program portfolios and faculty promotions
- Former Assistant Director of OSU Extension – Community Development, leading field-based specialists and educators
- Prior roles in community development with the Department of Agricultural, Environmental, and Development Economics and as a county educator in Crawford and Fulton counties
Dr. Davis focuses on enhancing community, organizational, and individual capacity to address civic, environmental, and economic challenges. He advises graduate students including Sierra Baca, Mercedes McFarland, and Emilee Drerup. His office is located in 200S Agricultural Administration Building.
