Brian Lyons is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Oxford's Institute of Biomedical Engineering, part of the School of Engineering Science. He holds a BSc in Chemistry from the National University of Ireland Galway and a PhD from the University of Sydney. His postdoctoral work at the University of Oxford focused on modifying biomolecules for therapeutic applications. Currently, he leads the development of immune-stimulating cavitation agents to enhance cancer immunotherapies within the BUBBL group. His research spans drug delivery systems, nanoparticle synthesis, and ultrasound-mediated therapies.
