Brian Koss

Brian Koss, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Medicine, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He is also a member of the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute.

Dr. Koss’s research centers on understanding how T cells adapt to environmental stress through proteome turnover dynamics, particularly in solid tumor contexts. His lab develops advanced proteomic techniques to improve CAR T-cell therapies and immune monitoring tools.

He has received the NIH Early Independence Award to support his work, which aims to translate proteomic insights into clinical cancer immunotherapy applications.
