His research focuses on understanding visual perception impairments in psychotic disorders using behavioral psychophysics, eye movement analysis, and MRI techniques.
Research Interests:
- Visual perception abnormalities in schizophrenia
- Functional brain connectivity analysis
- Neural mechanisms of perceptual organization
- Development of visual biomarkers for psychosis
- Integration of cognitive science principles
Scientific Awards:
- NIH/NIMH Loan Repayment Program (2013-2016)
- American Psychological Association Dissertation Award (2008)
- SIRS/ICOSR Young Investigator Award (2013)
- Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude honors
Collaborations with institutions like Washington University–St. Louis, Rutgers–Newark, and University of Rochester Medical Center suggest interdisciplinary research in visual neuroscience and psychiatric disorders.
