Brian Hanssen is the Director of the Management Communication Program and a Clinical Associate Professor of Management Communication at the Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York University. He joined NYU Stern in 2009 as an adjunct professor, served as a Visiting Associate Professor from 2015 to 2019, and became a full-time faculty member in 2019. He teaches in both the undergraduate and MBA programs at NYU Stern and NYU Shanghai.
His research and professional interests center on organizational and management communication, with a strong emphasis on change management, leadership communication, and corporate social impact.
