Jason Turetsky is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business, where he teaches in both the Management Communication Program and the Department of Technology, Operations, and Statistics. He joined Stern in 2021 and integrates theory with practical application in his teaching, drawing from extensive experience across corporate, nonprofit, government, and entrepreneurial sectors.
His educational background includes an MBA with Distinction from NYU Stern, specializing in Quantitative Finance, Business Analytics, and Real Estate; an MA with Merit in Middle Eastern Studies from SOAS University of London; and a BA in Public Policy and International Affairs from Princeton University.
Professor Turetsky's research and teaching interests span business and organizational communication, applied statistics, regression and forecasting models, and management communication. His interdisciplinary expertise is rooted in both data-driven decision-making and policy analysis, informed by his diverse professional roles.
While no recent publications are listed, his professional work emphasizes communication of technical insights derived from financial and statistical analysis to executive audiences at major corporations such as Ford Motor Company, JPMorgan Chase, and Bloomberg.
Outside of academia, Professor Turetsky has held significant roles including Assistant Director at the Anti-Defamation League’s Research Center and Political Advisor at the Israeli Consulate in New York, where he published and presented research widely. He also brings over a decade of experience in educational consulting, teaching, advising, and coaching students.
He is actively involved in teaching core courses such as Business Communication, Organizational Communication and its Social Context, Regression and Forecasting Models, Statistics for Business Control and Regression Analysis, and Stern Signature Projects.
