Brian Glenney is an Associate Professor of Philosophy in the College of Arts & Sciences at Norwich University. His research and teaching focus on ethics, history of philosophy, philosophy of science, and sensory perception. He has co-edited two influential books on the intersection of philosophy and sensory studies and pioneered innovative work in spatial justice through skateboarding advocacy.

Research Interests span sensory perception, its epistemological implications, and urban spatial justice. His work bridges abstract philosophical inquiry with real-world applications, notably exploring skateboarding as a mode of defamiliarization to reimagine city spaces and environmental sustainability. He also investigates accessibility through the Accessible Icon Project, which reimagines the International Symbol of Access.
