Brian Glaser is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at Chapman University's Wilkinson College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, where he has taught for over twenty years. He received Chapman's highest faculty honor, the Valerie Scudder Award (2023), along with teaching excellence (2019) and curriculum innovation awards (2012). Glaser directs the Disability Studies minor program involving sixty+ students.
His research explores poetry, environmental rhetoric, human rights, and Taoism through courses like 'Writing about the Global Human Rights Movement' and 'Environmental Rhetoric'. Glaser integrates social science perspectives with literary studies, examining themes of justice, nature, and spirituality.
