Brian Fairchild is a Professor in the Department of Poultry Science at the University of Georgia. He focuses on broiler management, environmental factors in poultry production, and energy conservation.
- Ph.D. in Physiology from North Carolina State University
- M.S. in Physiology from North Carolina State University
- B.S. in Animal Science and Poultry Science from North Carolina State University
His research explores how poultry house environmental management affects broiler physiology and production, including evaluating new technologies to improve poultry production efficiency. Teaching responsibilities include POUL 4010 Advanced Poultry Production and guest lectures in related courses.
