Brian Doyle

Brian Doyle is a Research Assistant at the RCSI SIM Centre for Simulation Education and Research and the School of Population Health, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), Dublin. He is also an accredited Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) instructor with the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF), and a practicing firefighter/paramedic, CISM peer supporter, mentor, and team coordinator in a Fire EMS service provider.

Recent work includes evaluating AI platforms for organizational trust and pandemic preparedness.

Brian employs quantitative and qualitative methodologies, with experience in thematic analysis, socio-technical systems analysis (STSA), and community-based participatory research (CBPR). He contributes to projects involving healthcare-associated infections, pandemic risk governance, and first responder family support systems.
