Brian Diemert is a Professor in the Department of English and Writing Studies at the University of Western Ontario. He previously taught at Brescia University College (affiliated with Western) for over 30 years until May 2024. His teaching focused on first-year courses, literary theory, and specialized topics such as Twentieth-Century British and Irish Literature, American Literature, and senior seminars on authors like Graham Greene, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Ian McEwan.
