Brian D Brown

Brian D Brown, PhD is a faculty member at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai with appointments in the Multi-Disciplinary Training Areas of Genetics and Genomic Sciences (GGS) and Immunology (IMM). Dr. Brown received his BSc from the University of Guelph, PhD from Queen's University, and completed a fellowship at San Raffaele Scientific Institute.

His research focuses on factors controlling immunity and tolerance, with specific interests in:

• Cancer immunology and immunotherapeutics
• Transcriptional regulation of dendritic cells
• Innate immune responses to nucleic acids
• Development of novel biotechnologies including Jedi platform for T cell studies
• Gene targeting systems for therapeutic applications

He directs projects in cancer immunology, gene expression networks, and therapeutic technology development.
