Brian Barr

Brian Barr serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, holding dual administrative leadership roles as Section Chief for General Cardiology and Medical Director for ECG at the University of Maryland Medical Center. His clinical practice spans outpatient offices in downtown Baltimore and Westminster, the Coronary Care Unit, and Cardiovascular Consult Service.

In 2018, he pioneered the Cardio-Oncology Program at Greenebaum Cancer Center to address chemotherapy-induced cardiovascular toxicity and provide integrated surveillance for oncology patients, establishing a multidisciplinary model for cardio-oncology care.
