Brett Mallon is a Teaching Assistant Professor and Chair of the Conflict Resolution Program at Kansas State University (K-State), within the College of Health and Human Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Manitoba (2021), an M.A. in Political Science from K-State (2014), and a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Conflict Analysis and Trauma Studies, also from K-State (2012).
His research focuses on peace agreement design, civil society's role in peace processes, divided societies (e.g., South Africa, Northern Ireland), and post-conflict reconciliation. Key areas include paramilitary influence in communities, youth engagement in peacebuilding, and memorialization practices.
