Bret Clark is Dean of Sciences, Mathematics & Pre-Professional Studies and Professor of Biology at Newberry College. A faculty member since 1995, he chairs the Department of Sciences and Mathematics and has developed curriculum in immunology and virology.
His distinguished teaching has earned multiple honors including the SCICU Excellence in Teaching Award and repeated recognition as Professor of the Year. Research focuses on microbiology education and infectious disease mechanisms.
