Brent Landau serves as Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, teaching Professional Responsibility since 2015, and Executive Director of the Public Interest Law Center since February 2024. The Center employs high-impact litigation, community education, and advocacy to advance civil, social, and economic rights for marginalized communities across Pennsylvania.
His educational foundation includes a cum laude Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School, where he served as Supervising Editor of the Harvard Journal on Legislation, Co-Chairperson of the Tenant Advocacy Project, and Teaching Fellow. He completed a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Bruce W. Kauffman of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Landau's professional focus integrates civil rights, social justice, economic rights, and professional responsibility with specialized expertise in human rights law, antitrust law, poverty law, and discrimination law. His methodology combines strategic litigation, community organizing, and policy advocacy to secure fundamental resources and services for underserved populations.

Previously, as Global Managing Partner of Hausfeld, he led complex class actions involving human rights violations and anticompetitive conduct while managing global firm operations and ethical compliance.
Landau's primary institutional affiliation centers on the Public Interest Law Center, where he directs multidisciplinary legal teams executing high-impact civil rights initiatives across Pennsylvania.
