Brent Fedirchuk, PhD, is an Associate Professor and Head of the Neuroscience and Spinal Cord Injury Division within the Department of Physiology & Pathophysiology at the University of Manitoba's Max Rady College of Medicine. He also serves as the Associate Department Head (Education), leading educational initiatives across graduate, post-baccalaureate, and medical programs, including the UGME pre-clerkship curriculum and the Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) program.

Research Focus
Dr. Fedirchuk investigates the spinal motor system's mechanisms for producing complex movements like walking, emphasizing neuromodulation and spinal neuron excitability regulation to advance functional motor recovery post-injury. His work is affiliated with the Spinal Cord Research Centre (SCRC).

Teaching & Academic Leadership
He oversees graduate courses, the Post-Baccalaureate Diploma (PBD) program, and leads neurophysiology instruction in the UGME Med I and MPAS programs. Notably, he is not currently accepting graduate students.
