Dr. Braxton Stowe serves as the Director of the Mississippi Principal Corps and Clinical Assistant Professor of Leadership and Counselor Education at the University of Mississippi's School of Education. He previously held roles as a high school principal in Mississippi, leading schools like Ocean Springs High School to historic academic achievements, including ranking #1 in Mississippi (2023-2024) and top 5% nationally. His career began with Teach for America, where he taught in the Mississippi Delta. Dr. Stowe holds a B.S. in Secondary Education (2009), M.A. in Public Policy & Administration (2011) from Mississippi State University, an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership (2014) from the University of Mississippi, and a Ph.D. in P-12 Leadership (2023) from Mississippi State University.
