Brandy Clayton is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice in the School of Nursing at the University of West Florida. She teaches in the Direct Entry MSN and Traditional BSN programs, focusing on instructional strategies to enhance learning outcomes and inter-professional collaboration. Her expertise includes simulation-based education and maternal-child health advocacy. Dr. Clayton holds a Ph.D. in Nursing Education from Liberty University, an MSN in Nursing Education from Grantham University, and a BSN from Columbus State University.

Her research interests emphasize community resource advocacy for teen pregnancy and pediatric care. Dr. Clayton is a 24-year Active Duty Army Nurse specializing in maternal-child health and currently serves as an Army Reservist Case Manager/Civil Affairs Public Education Officer.
