Brandon D. Stewart is a Lecturer at Monash University's Faculty of Law, affiliated with the Centre for Commercial Law and Regulatory Studies (CLARS) and the Australian Centre for Justice Innovation (ACJI). He holds visiting/adjunct roles at institutions like Sydney Law School and the University of Ottawa. His research focuses on tort law, access to justice, legal education, and empirical legal studies. He has practiced commercial litigation and served as a research fellow for Halton Community Legal Services.

Recent projects include empirical studies on apex courts' private law decisions and post-Mallon pure economic loss doctrine in Australia.
