Brandon C. Perez, Ph.D., BCBA-D, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Special and Early Education at Northern Illinois University (NIU). He holds a Ph.D. in Psychology (Behavior Analysis) from the University of Florida. His research focuses on behavioral interventions for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and severe problem behavior, with notable work in toilet training and functional analysis methodologies. He teaches courses in applied behavior analysis and contributes to certification pathways for Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
