Alina Michael is the ABA Fieldwork Coordinator and Adjunct Professor at Ouachita Baptist University’s M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst® (BCBA®) with over a decade of clinical experience in ABA therapy, parent-focused training, and behavioral interventions across home, school, and community settings. Her expertise spans autism, intellectual disabilities, psychiatric disorders, and behavior-analytic supervision.
- B.A. in Psychology from Florida International University (2011)
- M.S. in Psychology with Focus in ABA from Purdue University Global (2017)
Alina’s research focuses on problem behavior assessment and treatment, particularly delay intolerance, and ABA supervision methodologies. Her applied work has been presented at the Florida Association for Behavior Analysts (FABA), with peer-reviewed publications on perseverative speech and delay tolerance interventions. Her clinical work extends to supporting families during transitions into adulthood and mentoring new BCBA®s, BCaBA®s, and direct care staff.
In 2018, Alina co-authored a peer-reviewed publication on delay tolerance interventions and presented applied research at FABA. Her scholarly contributions highlight practical applications of ABA to address severe problem behaviors and behavioral disorders across diverse populations. She actively integrates clinical practice with training and supervision to enhance ABA service delivery.
