Bram Peper is a Lecturer and Academic Director (Bachelor) at the Department of Sociology, Tilburg School of Social and Behavioral Sciences, Tilburg University. His academic career includes previous positions as Assistant Professor at Erasmus University Rotterdam's Department of Criminology (2011-2017) and Department of Sociology (2004-2015), senior researcher at Utrecht University (2003-2005), and postdoctoral researcher at Erasmus University Rotterdam (2000-2005).
His research focuses on cross-national comparative studies of work-family arrangements across welfare state regimes. Key research interests include:
- Sociology of work and organizations
- Work-life balance and boundary management
- Employee well-being and occupational stress
- Gender studies and welfare state policies
- Social theory and organizational change
- Managerial roles in work-life integration
His publications demonstrate strong thematic coherence in sociological analysis, primarily examining work-life dynamics, social stigma, organizational pressures, and societal transformations.
