Bradley G. Green is a Professor of Theological Studies at Union University, located in Jackson, Tennessee. He holds a Ph.D. from Baylor University, a Th.M. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a M.Div. from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. His academic work focuses on historical theology, patristics, and Reformation thought, with particular emphasis on Augustine of Hippo and Colin Gunton. He has authored or edited numerous books, including Augustine of Hippo: His Life and Impact (2020) and Covenant and Commandment (2015).
Dr. Green serves on the Board of Directors at Augustine School (a Christian liberal arts school he co-founded) and American Friends of Tyndale House Cambridge. He is also a Senior Fellow at Newton House, Oxford, and a Senior Contributor to The Imaginative Conservative. His research and writing engage themes of theological tradition, biblical exegesis, and the integration of faith with intellectual life.
Recent contributions include volumes in the Reformation Commentary on Scripture series and articles in journals like the International Journal of Systematic Theology. His work bridges historical theology with contemporary Christian thought, emphasizing the relevance of Augustine and early church fathers to modern theological discourse.
