Bradley Cain

Dr. Bradley Cain is a Senior Lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University, where he directs the African Wildlife Ecology and Conservation MSc program in partnership with Tanzania's College of African Wildlife Management. His research applies molecular and ecological techniques to conservation challenges across sub-Saharan Africa.

Research themes include:

• Human-wildlife conflict mitigation
• Wildlife disease transmission
• Reintroduction biology
• Reproductive ecology of rhinoceros

He supervises PhD candidates investigating whale shark genetics, black rhinoceros feeding ecology, elasmobranch conservation, and galago behavior. Current field projects span Kenya, Tanzania, and marine environments across three ocean basins.
