Brad Epps is the Chair in Spanish at the University of Cambridge and a Professorial Fellow at King’s College. He previously served as Head of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Cambridge and as Professor and Chair of Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality at Harvard University. His research spans modern literature, film, art, and architecture in Spain, Latin America, Hispanophone Africa, and Catalonia, alongside queer theory, immigration, and urban theory.

His scholarly output includes over 100 publications and books on figures like Juan Goytisolo and Pedro Almodóvar. He has held visiting positions globally and directs the AHRC-funded MEITS project strand on multilingualism. He is also Series Editor for Hispanic Studies at Routledge Press.
