Brad Beckman is an Assistant Professor of Piano Pedagogy at the University of North Texas (UNT). He holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Piano Performance from UNT and has taught at the institution for over fifteen years. His roles include coordinating piano pedagogy programs, advising the UNT/TMTA Collegiate Student Chapter, and overseeing the piano pedagogy related field for DMA candidates.

- Master of Music, University of North Texas
- Doctorate of Musical Arts in Piano Performance, University of North Texas
Beckman's research and teaching focus on piano pedagogy, adult music education, and keyboard skills. He has contributed to Keyboard Companion Magazine on adult student instruction and actively performs in duo-piano collaborations with Dr. Carolyn True. His performances include appearances at the State Department and with the UNT Concert Orchestra in Poulenc's Two Piano Concerto.

He advises doctoral programs, coordinates group piano classes, and has released CDs with Dr. True, including Bradley Beckman and Carolyn True 2. Current projects include a Toccata Classics recording of Wilhelm Goldner's duet repertoire.
