Dr. Bonnie Nicholson is a Professor and Associate Director in the School of Psychology at the University of Southern Mississippi, specializing in Counseling Psychology. She leads the Positive Parenting Research Team (PPRT), which investigates parenting practices and positive psychology constructs linked to healthy child and parent outcomes. Her work focuses on helicopter parenting, cultural variations in parenting, and attachment dynamics in families.
