Bonnie Martin-Harris

Bonnie Martin-Harris is the Alice Gabrielle Twight Professor in the Roxelyn and Richard Pepper Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders and Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs at Northwestern University's School of Communication. She holds cross-appointments in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and Radiation Oncology.

• Research Focus: Respiratory-swallowing interactions, dysphagia assessment/treatment, and disorders related to head/neck cancer, neurology, and pulmonary conditions.
• Clinical Innovation: Developed MBSImP (Modified Barium Swallowing Impairment Profile), a globally adopted standardized method for swallowing impairment assessment.
