Dr. Bonnie Marie Freeman is an Associate Professor in the School of Social Work at McMaster University. Her work focuses on Indigenous methodologies, decolonization, and community-led research. She holds a PhD in Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University and has extensive experience collaborating with Indigenous communities in Canada and the U.S., particularly through initiatives like the Two Row Canoe Paddle project on the Grand River. Her research emphasizes Haudenosaunee perspectives and rebuilding Indigenous-non-Indigenous alliances.
