Dr. Bonnie Holiday is Professor of Social Work at Spring Arbor University, specializing in clinical practice and ethical social work education. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Social Work from The Institution for Clinical Social Work in Chicago (2017), M.S.W. from University of Michigan (1991), and B.S. in Family Life Education from Eastern Michigan University (1976).
Her research focuses on therapeutic experiences with parents who have involuntarily lost custody of children. She maintains active membership in the National Association of Social Workers and North American Association of Christians in Social Work, where she previously served on the board.
Awards include the SAU Teaching Excellence Award (2017-2018) and Harold Darling Keeper of the Concept Award (2019). She maintains a small clinical practice at Encounter Church Counseling in Jackson, Michigan.
