Bogdan Król

Bogdan Król is a Professor of Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, where he founded the Animation and Computer Games Studio and served as Head of the Department of Multimedia (2016–2021). He also teaches at the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School (University of Silesia).

Król’s research and artistic practice focuses on Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Animation, and Multimedia, blending traditional visual arts with digital technologies. His work includes graphic art, illustrations, posters, paintings, and multimedia projects, which are held in private and museum collections worldwide.

In addition to his academic roles, Król is an expert for the State Accreditation Committee and a consultant for the Center for Artistic Education under the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. He has actively promoted new media integration in artistic education across Polish academic and artistic communities.
