Maciej Linttner

Professor Maciej Linttner is an academic at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, where he has worked in the Department of Painting since 2003. He holds a doctorate and postdoctoral degree in painting, focusing on contemporary visual arts and graphic design.

His research explores intersections of painting, cultural memory, and psychological expression. His publications Nic, czyli wszystko już było (2017) and Nervica (2020) analyze modern art theory and mental health in artistic practice.

Linttner has received multiple accolades including the prestigious 'Muza' Award from the Mayor of Bytom, Grand Prix at Katowice's 'Praca Roku,' and prizes in Warsaw, Tychy, and Szczecin exhibitions.
