Bob Reynolds serves as an Adjunct Instructor in Jazz Studies at the USC Thornton School of Music, where he teaches saxophone and shares his expertise in improvisation. A Los Angeles-based three-time Grammy winner with Snarky Puppy, he maintains an active performance career spanning jazz, pop, and rock collaborations while pioneering online music education initiatives.
His educational background includes a summa cum laude degree from The Berklee College of Music under George Garzone and Hal Crook, followed by eight formative years in New York City's jazz scene before relocating to Los Angeles in 2008.
Reynolds' artistic focus centers on improvisation as narrative-driven melody creation, blending West Coast Bop traditions with contemporary sensibilities. His distinctive warm tenor saxophone voice has made him a sought-after collaborator across diverse genres, from Michael Bublé and John Mayer to jazz innovators like Larry Carlton and Chris Botti.
