Bob Bowles is an Assistant Professor at Regis University's Anderson College of Business and Computing, specializing in Computer Science and Information Systems. He has been actively involved in academia since 1997, initially serving as affiliate faculty before transitioning to rank faculty in 2019 as an instructor and Director of the Center for Information Assurance Studies.

With over 34 years of expertise in cybersecurity and information assurance, Bob has significantly shaped Regis University's academic offerings. He pioneered the evolution of the Information Assurance curriculum into the current Master of Science in Information and Cyber Security program.
Bob is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and has held leadership roles in federal cybersecurity, including Chief Information Security Officer for the Department of the Interior's Interior Business Center and senior positions at the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command. His notable achievements include co-developing the United States Ballistic Missile Defense Network.
His current roles focus on teaching, directing cybersecurity initiatives, and contributing to academic leadership at Regis University.
