Commander Brian P. Worden is an instructor at the United States Naval Academy's Center for Cyber Security Studies. A Surface Warfare Officer and Information Professional Officer, he holds a BS in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (2006) and an MS in Information Technology Management from the Naval Postgraduate School (2012). His military career includes roles at U.S. Strategic Command (JFCC Space), U.S. Cyber Command (National Mission Team Lead), and Fleet Cyber Command/TENTH Fleet (N63 Lead). He has led cyber strike teams, managed strategic sensor operations, and supported NATO communications in Afghanistan. Worden specializes in cyber defense, assured command and control systems, and operational readiness of cyber infrastructure.
